Coastal Processes Manual: information on obtaining this coastal engineering manual which is "written for persons with a professional stake in prudent coastal development on the Great Lakes„bankers, contractors, developers, engineers, insurers, realtors, regulators." The manual includes insturctions on how to recognize the risks of flooding and erosion at specific sites along the coast.

 

El Niĝo Facts Page: in anticipation of the 1997 El Niĝo seasons climatic events, USC Sea Grant and the California Coastal Commission produced a web page for coastal bluff property owners, coastal and hillside residents on coastal erosion, property preparedness and on the science and predicted weather events associated with El Niĝo.

Nationwide Projects on Coastal Erosion

The Southwest Washington Coastal Erosion Study: A research program in which a federal-state-local cooperative address the coastal geology, processes, and natural hazards of the Southwest Washington coast.

 

The Southern Lake Michigan Coastal Erosion Study: Study is found online and provided by the USGS. This study involves coastal processes in the Great Lakes area.
