Coastal Hazards
Sea Grant programs in every coastal and Great Lakes state, including the U.S. Pacific and Caribbean islands are subject to damage and loss from a variety of natural hazards. These include hurricanes, floods, tsunami and coastal erosion. These are the hazards that are the subject of this site. Man-made hazards such as oil spills, are addressed on other sites.
