Stress has been around for centuries, although our grandparents could not have used this term. And if you realize it or not, just about anything you do to get through the day, every thought and every act is an act of coping with stress.
Here are some dealing methods with the stress that are aimed directly at the source of stress, while other methods have more to do with the strain that is produced by stress. Each individual is trying its best to reduce stressors and cope better with stress itself. Whether it's going to work, stay in bed, get drunk, cry or laugh, they are all acts of coping.

However, many of these coping strategies feeling good for now, but provide only temporary relief from stress. They do not eliminate the cause and long-term stress that could build up and do more damage to your health.
If you often find temporary comfort in actions such as eating, smoking, or drinking alcohol, you simply avoid and delay the effects of stress. Avoidance basically means facing the stress of not cope. Beware though, it could bite harder back.
Blaming everything evil of your life on other people might give you an excuse as to why you feel unhappy, but this solves nothing. In fact, dealing with stress by assigning blame and point fingers at other people can significantly worsen your frustrations.
When things do not go just the way you want then don" t just sit and wait for something to change. Unfortunately, no problems just disappear like magic if you want further. So stop complaining and take an attitude, do something to change your life for the better.
